In this four-hour session, your team or group of friends will learn the art of stained glass. Together, you’ll create your own stained glass window. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, everyone can join in! It’s the perfect way to promote teamwork and creativity in a relaxed atmosphere. Roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself in the world of this beautiful craft.
What to expect?
Charlotte from Atelier Forrier will guide you step by step through the stained glass process. She will lead you from A to Z. No experience is necessary!
During the workshop, you will learn:
• How to choose a design (A5 size).
• Which types and colors of glass to use.
• How to cut and grind the glass for a perfect finish.
• How to set the glass into lead and solder it to create a beautiful stained glass window.
• If time permits: patination.
The result? A craft-based group activity that encourages teamwork, fun, and a finished stained glass piece.
Practical details of the workshop
Location: Pasteurstraat 42, 1070 Brussels
Number of participants: Minimum 5 and maximum 10 people
Size of the workpiece A5 (choice of various designs)
Duration: 3,5 hours (can extend to 4 hours)
Cost: €50 per person (21% VAT included)
The workshop can take place during the week or on weekends. The exact date and time will be agreed upon mutually. Schedule:
• 1st hour: Welcome, choosing design and glass pieces
• 2nd hour: Cutting and grinding the glass
• 3rd hour: Setting in lead, soldering, and polishing (option for patination)
Under Charlotte’s guidance, everyone will leave the workshop with their own handmade stained glass piece.
