Stained-glass workshop:
Create your most beautiful wall mirror!

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all… Who doesn’t know that memorable line from Snow White’s stepmother? A classic from the Brothers Grimm and Disney! And that is precisely my aim with the “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall” stained-glass workshop!

Because I want you, as a participant in this enchanting workshop, to create a ‘classic’ piece of interior décor. A classic that we all have at home anyway, and which you can give that extra touch of style through this workshop!

The “Mirror on the Wall” will be the centrepiece of your home. This workshop also offers you the chance to explore and develop your artistic skills.

What will you learn during the stained-glass mirror workshop?

During the workshop, Charlotte will guide you through the process of creating your own stained-glass mirror from start to finish. Each group consists of a maximum of four people. This ensures that every participant learns the basics of stained-glass making step by step. The workshop lasts four hours and takes place on a Saturday morning or afternoon.

Creative section:

Step 1: Choose a design. You can choose from 6 different designs to which you can add your own creative touch. Whether you prefer traditional patterns or want to give your mirror a modern twist, there’s always a design to suit your taste. The mirror measures 21cm x 30cm (A4), and you can incorporate up to five different types of glass into it.
Step 2: Choosing the glass, based on the various textures and colours. The glass is sorted into different boxes by colour.

Technical section:

Step 3: Cutting and grinding the glass to size according to the design on your tracing paper.
Step 4: Learning how to work with lead and assembling your stained-glass mirror.
Step 5: Solder the lead and polish your finished stained-glass mirror.
Step 6: Head home proudly with your very own stained-glass mirror.

So it’s set to be a packed workshop, full of creativity, wonder and lovely end results!

Please note: if you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding, it is not advisable to take part in a workshop.
Minimum age: 12 years.

How much does the stained-glass mirror workshop cost?

For 114 euros You’ll head home proudly with your very own, original stained-glass mirror.

The workshop lasts around 4 hours and takes place in the morning (9.00 am to 1.00 pm) or in the afternoon (2.00 pm to 6.00 pm).

The workshop includes:
• Your very own unique stained-glass mirror, including a small easel.
All the necessary materials.
Coffee, tea and water.
• A small group of up to 4 people.

You can also opt for a private version of the workshop A day as a glazier. This is for groups of 4 to 8 people. Here too, we will choose a suitable date together.
